The Catalytic Role of L-Arginine in Organic Reactions

چکیده

L-arginine plays a key role in the biosynthesis of proteins (helping build muscle and rebuild tissue) and releases nitric oxide in the blood (to widen blood vessels in the bloodstream). Moreover, L-arginine has attracted considerable attention in the field of catalytic and adsorption systems. This review describes the application of L-arginine (supported or unsupported on solid supports) as an organic and green catalyst in organic reactions.
